Temperate Reef Ecology

Ecology is the study of how living things interact with their environment. This section of the Wiki aims to further our understanding of ecology as it pertains to the southern Australian coastline. Topics discussed here should be generalised, although specific (local) examples are encouraged. Suitable topics would include: the effect of light levels on macroalgae; or predator prey relationships in a fish community. If your observations are more specific in nature (e.g. feefing behaviour of Magpie Perch) then please place your topic under the natural history section instead.
