Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management Board caring for country

Reef Watch currently receives most of its funding from the Adelaide and Mt Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management Board. 

Additional funding is provided through the Caring For Our Country Community Coastcare program

Primary Industries and Resources

PIRSA Biosecurity have provided funding towards the marine pest component of the Feral or In Peril program

Department for Environment & Heritage

South Australian Research and Development Institute

The Aquatic Sciences Division of SARDI has provided Reef Watch with conference facilities and use of their aquarium complex.

City of Onkaparinga

The City of Onkaparinga manages part of Adelaide's southern coastline including Noarlunga Reef, which is one of the most popular dive sites in the state. The council has assisted the Southern Ocean Divers Social Club (SODS) with small grants to assist them with their Reef Watch monitoring activites.

PADI Project Aware Foundation

The Project AWARE Foundation (Aquatic World Awareness, Responsibility and Education) has provided Reef Watch with financial support in the past, to assist in the development of monitoring kits.aware logo.

The diving industry

A number of dive shops give ongoing support for training and monitoring dives (details), and have generously donated merchandise and vouchers to support various Reef Watch events.



The people of South Australia
